This place is exactly what you expect when you go seeking shawarma. Meat tastes good and is well cooked. Good ratios. Decent portions. The sauce is good. No complaints. More seasoning would make it more note worthy. It wasn't extraordinary- it is exactly what you expect. Located in the Hawthorne Asylum. Cool place to hangout and get some drinks. The guy that served me was exactly what you expect too. When the food was ready he yelled "done" set it on the counter and walked away. Overall a good experience. I would eat here again.

I absolutely can't say how good this place is the food and especially the lamb shawarma was to die for! This is my first time having it and I couldn't be happier! Also the stage is so high that no one else can meet it probably! Highly recommend!

I had no idea what an arabi was but i am really really glad i followed the reviews. I don't normally order chicken for take out because it usually ends up dry and tasteless. Not the chicken schwarma arabi! Soooo flavorful. The pickle is a perfect compliment to the flavor. The only- ONLY thing i could recommend is a more garlicky garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was good. But i would have loved it to be way more garlicky. But I'm a weirdo who loves garlicky to the point where it's spicy.

Picked up a lamb shawarma wrap ($12.99) from here as a snack and it didn't look like much but boy was it tasty! The wrap was thin and there was just the right amount of sauce and fresh, crunchy veggies (tomatoes and cabbage) inside. The lamb was in shaved rectangular slices. Perfect handheld. Awesome portions. Food stall located in a cluster of food stalls (food pods?). Friendly staff.

This is one of the food trucks lined up on SW 3rd street. Chose this between bunch of mexican and indian food trucks. I got the chicken wrap. It was a pretty elaborate and nice setup and very filling. The chicken was nice and tender and the sauces made this even more tasty. Some other friends got the combo with fries and it was great as well. Overall a good place to try out.

This place looks like any of the other food trucks that you walk past in different parts of Portland - but it is far from being "just another food truck". The first time we ever tried this place was last year 2020 right before the pandemic began. It was located around the corner and they have since moved to a different lot on the same block. This is by far our favorite food truck in all of Portland (and I believe they've also incorporated a restaurant not too far from this location). Anyway, I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap which comes with a generous amount of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and white sauce (yogurt sauce?). It is absolutely to die for! The wrap is ridiculously long, and on a normal day I would not be able to finish it. However, I was so hungry the day we had this place that I completely devoured my entire wrap! Make sure you ask the gentleman for extra garlic sauce, and tzatziki as well! The guy was so kind and provided a generous amount of condiments for us. Make sure you tip them, they are all so kind! Note: there are no tables to sit at right now (as of December 2021), but perhaps this will change and things "normalize" a bit more.
